Virginia A. Mulligan has been a Transfiguration parishioner for over 22 years.  At Transfiguration, she has been a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Mass Coordinator.  She has also taught PREP and helped in the ChrisTeen Office. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She received her degree in Communications from Pace University.

While raising her children she was a very active volunteer, including Lector coordination for St. Sylvester’s Parish in Brooklyn.  She also was a PTSA President at McKlesky Middle School for two years.  Her most recent work experience includes administrative work at Drake Realty and retail at Bath and Body Works.

Virginia has three children.  The oldest two live in Woodstock.  Her youngest, Nicole, is also a Mass Coordinator and is instrumental in Altar Serving Training at Transfiguration.  Virginia also has two granddaughters that light up her life.  In her spare time, she plays tennis and is a science fiction geek.
