Sojourners
Transfiguration
Adult Faith Formation
We are on this great journey together.
A “sojourner” is defined as a person who resides temporarily in a place. An adult faith life should not be static, but continually develop and flourish. Come grow in faith on the journey with us!

The Intent of Sojourners is to…
- Invite and Enable Ongoing Conversion to Jesus in Holiness of Life,
- Promote and Support Active Membership in the Christian Community,
- Call and Prepare Adults to Act as Disciples in Mission to the World.
Our Adult Faith Formation offerings aim to enhance the faith dimensions of an adult life, including understanding and communicating the faith, developing skills needed for personal growth, enriching the experience of relationships and of family life, promoting public service and fostering concern for the common good.
Offerings include:
- “Understanding Our Faith” classes
- Bible studies
- Book studies
- Small Group meetings
- Adult Confirmation classes
- Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCI -A) (non-Catholics becoming Catholic)
- Catholic Social Teaching
- Care for Creation Committee
- Presentations by Guest Speakers
- Evenings of Reflection
- Parish Missions
Offerings change seasonally. During the school year, many of our class and meeting options align with the times children are experiencing “Our Great Journey” in their own religious education classes.
